Of course you can! We suggest you bring a couple of close people along to shortlist some dresses first.

At our boutique, we stock sizes ranging from UK 6 to UK 28. It’s best to try on dresses in or around your size to get the best idea of how you will look, we can pin you into most dresses however.

Once you have found your dream dress, we will measure you to see which size you are closest to. Sizes differ between designers and normally range from UK 4 to UK 30, with special orders available at a surcharge.

Your gown will be made to order, not made to measure!

We also do bespoke designs at Bride at Home if required.

When ordering, you normally pay a deposit of 50% and the rest of the balance is paid when your dress arrives. Or if you wish, you can pay the whole balance at once. You can even spread the cost by paying a minimum deposit of 25% and then monthly interest free instalments (up to six months).

Deposits are non-refundable.

Any remaining balance should be paid before your first fitting.

Our bridal and bridesmaid dresses normally take around 3-6 months to arrive, depending on the designer. Special orders may take longer.

Once your dress is in, we will contact you to arrange your 1st fitting or to try your gown on.

At Bride at Home, we specialize in fitting and alterations!

You’ll have your 1st fitting 6- 8 weeks before the wedding to determine what needs to be altered (if anything); we will then alter the dress to your requirements. After that, a final fitting is needed closer to the wedding to check everything and you may collect the dress on this day!

Alterations aren’t included in the price of the dress. Please call the boutique to book your fitting!

Normally, we don’t do fittings on Saturdays as it is our busiest day and our seamstresses work different weekend on a rota, but we are very flexible and can work around this, so feel free to give us a call!

We have seamstresses in on Monday/Friday 10:00-5:00 and can discuss evening appointments in advance if required. If you have a special request for fittings, please call the boutique in advance.

Don’t panic! You can always buy one of our stock dresses at a discounted price. Most companies also do express delivery if it’s not too late.

Stock dresses are sample gowns that we can sell to you ‘off the peg’ at a great discounted price in order to make room for our new collections. We steam clean and check over all of our stock dresses, to ensure that you get a beautiful, high quality dress without the expensive price tag!

We buy directly from our designers. This means, we can guarantee the upmost quality of our gowns. Whereas, many websites use designer photographs but produce cheap, low quality copies. Often sending you something that doesn’t look anything like the image displayed.

If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is!

Please find the terms and conditions on the back of your receipt. You can change your mind within 24 hours before your order will be processed.

All our prom dresses are bought directly from our designers meaning it can take up to four months for a prom dress to arrive with us. Our designers may have stock of your chosen gown, meaning it may arrive sooner, however this may need to be checked by our consultants.
We also have an amazing range of sale dresses, so if you are worried it is too late, it is not!
Please also note all our designers have different order cut off dates, meaning after these dates it will only be what that have left in stock to order from.
